There are approximately 6000 Novus Ordo priests in the UK.  Between them in the last twelve months they have produced fifty-six seminarians.  That is approximate .001 seminarian per Novus Ordo priest.  And they are jumping up and down with excitement because it is fractionally up on previous years!

The Priestly Society of St Peter (who celebrate exclusively the traditional rite of Mass and who up until very recently had one priest in the UK) has ten seminarians.  Unfortuneately, these men have had to go into exile for their formation because there is no traditional seminary in the UK.  Three of the ten are in Germany and the remaining seven in the United States. These ten vocations make this one traditional priest approximately one thousand times more fruitful than his average Novus Ordo counterpart!

Is it too fancifull to see the Novus Ordo church as a modern example of a baren fig tree cursed by Christ? 

The Lack of Institutional Integrity that Defines the Post-Conciliar Church from the Pope Down.

I was recently talking the an elderly Catholic woman, we will call her Sheila. Sheila had had two "husbands".  The first husband (we will call him Steven) she had married in the Catholic church as a young woman and she had bourne Steven three children.  Steven however walked out on Sheila when her eldest was about ten years old.

A couple of years later Sheila met a man we will call Charles at Mass and they quickly decided they wanted to marry.  Enter the Bishop of Birmingham who was apparently a family frind.  He suggested that Sheila go for an annulment.  Unfortunately, her attempt to get an annulment from the diocese of Birmingham failed.  Her facilitating bishop then suggested that she try her luck with the diocese of Liverpool, "because they granted annulments more easily".  Sheila was eventualy succesful in obtaining an annulment from the diocese of Liverpool.  However, because of the canonical processes involved, this needed to be confirmed by Westminster.  The canonists at Westminster found some flaw in the process and reversed the decision of the Liverpool diocese.

Enter friendly accommodating parish priest, we will call him Fr Flapdoodle.  Fr Flapdoodle suggested that Sheila and Charles should have a blessing in church and then go off and fornicate together happy ever after - notwithstanding the fact that Sheila is of course still married to Steven.  Not content with this, Fr Flapdoodle further suggested that if Sheila and Charles would like to move to Scotland, they would be able to find a "Catholic" priest willing to "marry" them, as, "they are less fussy up there"!  Sheila satisfied herself with the "blessing" and happy fornicating.

I am reminded that a few years ago, a young woman came out of a confessional, obviously distressed.  I reacted as the father of two grownup daughters with a concerned, "What on earth is the matter love?"  She explained to me that she was living with a man to whom she was not married, but the priest in the confessional had just told her it was all right for her to go to communion.  She then exclaimed through her tears, "Even I know that is not right!"  The priest in question shortly after became the bishop's secretary.

We see in the above incidents clear evidence of the switch between the vertical God-centered Church of the old liturgy and the horizontal man-centered Church ushered in by the Novus Ordo.  And with that switch comes corruption, and institutional integrity has simply evaporated.

According to Pope Francis the Church has never been so good.  Recently, over a period of a mere five days eight clerics (including two bishops) have been found guilty of the homosexual molestation of minors; one of the priests had 87,000 pornagraphic pictures of young boys on his hard drive!

The kissing of the Qur-an (the “holy” books of the false religion of Islam) by Pope John Paul the Second scandalised thousands in the Catholic Church.  Add the public dethroning of Christ: the Assisi blasphemy, where the devotees of every false god known to man were invited to stand alongside Peter.  Surely we are witnessing the “Diabolical disorientation of the Church, starting at the top,” of which Our Lady forewarned us?

The drive to have Pope John Paul the 2nd fast-track canonised calls to mind an event at Christendom College some years ago organized to celebrated the "25 Glorious Years of Pope John Paul II’s Pontificate.”

Twenty-five glorious years!  Where have they been living?  The planet Zog?  With the sordid details of the disintegration of the human element of the Church having been splashed across the world’s front pages for decades, isn’t it just a tad over the top to call these 25 years “glorious”?  While I would hardly expect a Catholic college to have heaped public criticisms on the then aging pontiff, I do wonder why sane men didn ’t see a need to observe at least a decent silence.  Even the Pope himself just before his death had the good grace to question his own lack of governance over these same 25 years.  After all, he wasn’t merely an observer; he was the man in charge of the debacle!

This is the “great” pope who gave us the cerebrally challenged Comic Murphy (condoms are okay) O’Connor as primate of England (A prelate so depraved that he was able to give his approval to a regular Mass in his diocese for militant sodomites!); the rascally careerist Keith (no problem with sodomite teachers) O’Brien as primate of Scotland (we all know the end of that sorry tale) and not to mention giving the renowned German heretic, Walter (doesn’t believe in the apostolic succession) Kasper, the Cardinal’s hat!  Pope John Paul 2 gave us a worldly decadent bureaucracy where once stood the noble and courageous hierarchy of the Catholic Church, and we are still suffering from it to this day.

We’ve endured a 25-year-long ecclesiastical nightmare, marked by spiritual annihilation, church closings, homosexual scandals and a mass exodus of nuns and religious from the Catholic landscape. We can no longer ignore the fact that the American priesthood and episcopacy has become a hotbed of predatory sodomites, thanks in large measure to the laxity of that same decadent bureaucracy and their “new and improved” seminaries, all of course imbued with the “reforms” of Vatican II.

Humanly speaking, the Church was dragged to the brink of collapse during the 25 years of Pope John Paul II’s reign.  So what “glorious” goings-on are we talking about?  Trips to Denver?  Verbose encyclicals that very few Catholics could be bothered to slog through and even fewer understand, and all the clergy ignore?  Altar girls?  Communion in the hand?  Bob Dylan concerts inside the Vatican?  The Assisi scandals?  Heretical loons such as the then self-styled “Archbishop” of Canterbury invited to participate in the opening of the Holy Door?  Or is it the fact that the Vicar of Christ, the Successor of St. Peter, the visible head of the Catholic Church didn ’t approve of abortion?  Have we sunk so low into the cesspool of mediocrity that even merely being pro-life - a given for any genuine Catholic - is now deemed a mark of greatness?

The governing policies of Pope John Paul 2’s pontificate have failed, and history records that failure. It’s not a matter of opinion; every available statistic and indicator heavily underscores it.  It simply cannot be denied that the Church on Pope John Paul 2’s watch went from bad to disastrous.  Up to the day he died he was still promoting the same old hackneyed policies that have brought the human element of the Church to a grinding and embarrassing halt.  He praises the failed 2nd Vatican Council ad nauseam; lauded the disastrous ecumenical debacle; waxed rhapsodic about the diabolical liturgical revolution which has left millions spiritually marooned because it produced a liturgy which even his then right-hand man, Cardinal Ratzinger, called a “fabrication, a banal on-the-spot product”.  Catholic churches closed by the hundreds, the well of priestly vocations fast running dry, children no longer taught how to say a Hail Mary in most Catholic schools (let alone their catechism), Sunday Mass attendance plummeted, and John Paul was utterly at sea as to what to do about it all - except schedule yet another trip some where or other.

And unbelievably, the smothering permafrost that was exterminating the Catholic world was, for Pope John Paul, a “new springtime”!  In a time of devastation of the vineyard, what could be more horrendous for Catholics than to look to Peter himself - and see a wandering idealist, muttering about his visions from the 60s and seeing spring where there is nothing except nuclear winter?

Some will argue, this frozen tundra wasn’t his entire fault.  Yet a little while before he died, Cardinal Law, the overseer of the most egregious cover-up of predatory sodomite priest scandals in history, slipped American jurisdiction and sought sanctuary in Rome.  This bizarre prelate was welcomed with open arms and given a comfortable and prestigious Roman position by none other than Pope John Paul 2 himself!  Would it have been possible for the pope to signal his personal indifference to his children's spiritual welfare any more clearly? 

When a delegation of Catholics from Milwaukee visited JP2 to appeal for action, because their diocese was imploding under the regime of the sodomite in charge - JP" effectively blanked them!  Rembert Weakland, Archbishop of Milwaukee and darling of the liberals, had responded to teachers in a Catholic school who were reporting sexual abuse by local priests by stating, "any libellous material found in your letter will be scrutinized carefully by our lawyers."   And in 1994, Weakland said those reporting sexual abuse were "squealing."   According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a deposition released in 2009 revealed that Weakland shredded reports about sexual abuse by priests.  Weakland admitted allowing priests guilty of child sex abuse to continue as priests without warning parishioners or alerting the police and claimed in his autobiography that in the early years of the sexual abuse scandal he didn't know that child sexual abuse was a crime.

During the reign of John Paul II virtually every facet of Catholic life succumbed to a process of rapid and deep decay.  He presided over the awful world wide atrophy of the Latin Rite, he did nothing to halt the near total rejection of the Social Kingship of Christ, he allowed the virtual total destruction of orthodox catechesis to proceed unchallenged, he continued to promote a devastatingly injurious ecumenism up to the day he died, and, most ruinous of all, his entire reign was marked by a profound failure to appoint and uphold an orthodox episcopacy - from whose dissent and ineptitude we suffer even to this day.

John Paul II has either contributed mightily to the auto-destruction or he did absolutely nothing to stop it - either way, what on earth are we celebrating?  But good and decent Catholics look at the same madness, the same reality, the same naked emperor and the same overwhelming evidence and say: “Hey, let’s celebrate this glorious epoch and canonise the man who oversaw the whole bloody fiasco”!

Does Anyone Still Seriously Believe That the Global Warming Scam is Driven by Science?

The IPPC (the UN's Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change), supposedly the world's authority on global warming, in June issued a draft report to governments.  This report is the result of four years work by hundreds of scientist.  Unfortunately for the IPPC, a mole leaked the supposedly confidential report to the press.  Consequently we were able to discover that one of its central findings was that there had been no perceptable global warming for the last decade and a half.  What is even more interesting, revealled by the Associated Press, is that the leak also revealled that there have been hundreds of objections lodged by governments to the report.

Germany called for the references to the none existent evidence to be deleted completely - that's German thouroughness for you.  They also suggested that a graph going back centuries may have an upward curve that would help pacify the bed wetters.  Bearing in mind that the Industrial Revolution ended around 1840, they would presumably not want it to go back too many centuries.

Hungary expressed concern that the report might provide ammunition for man-made climate change deniers!  In other words, bury the hard scientific evidence or otherwise we shall not be able to continue milking the scam.

Belgium artfully suggested that they should find an exceptionally cold year in recent history and use that as the base, so that the graph would show a rather more satisfactory upward curve in stead of just flatlining. 

The Obama delegation suggested they explain away the lack of evidence for global warming by adding something to the effect that although the earth has got warmer, we can't measure it because all the extra heat has been mopped up by the oceans.  That depressing devious ingenuity is I suppost the best one can expect from a man who cut his political teeth in Chicargo.

One prominent German scientist conceeded that the scientists were coming under a great deal of pressure to rewrite their conclusion to accomodate the desire of politicians to keep the scam rolling - although he stated his concern slightly more diplomatically than I have.

Matthew Shepard was a young man brutally murdered in October 1998.  Almost immediately global attention turned to the speculation that Shepard’s killers tortured and murdered him because he was gay.  His killers tied him to a fence outside of the tiny town of Laramie, Wyoming and his death was compared to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Within days of his death Shepard became the face of gay rights in America and around the world.  A New York Times editorial suggested Shepard was the representative of gay rights the movement had needed all along.  He was young, handsome and innocent.

The parents of Matthew Shepard have become leading spokespeople for the rights of gay people around the world.  They have appeared at the UN and also recently took a tour of European capitals under the auspices of the US State Department, which has made LGBT rights a primary focus of US foreign policy.

All along there were naysayers to the Shepard narrative.  Social critic Camille Paglia wrote in Salon that Shepard had a taste for what is called “rough trade” and that he could have died from that.  Detectives at the time suggested that his death was more than likely tied to drugs rather than his homosexuality.  An ABC 20/20 segment several years later explored that possibility.

However, a new book out by award winning gay journalist Steven Jiminez goes much further than previous critics of the Shepard narrative.  Jiminez went to Laramie some years ago to conduct interviews for a movie script about the life and death of Shepard. Almost immediately he began to hear stories about Shepard that had never been reported and that flatly contradict the notion that he was killed because he was gay.

In The Book of Matt reveals what townsfolk knew all along, that Shepard was very involved in the Laramie drug scene, may have been an occasional drug dealer himself, and even more importantly, he knew his killers. And more than that, he and his killers had had sex together.

One of the conceits of the dominant narrative was that Shepard did not know his killers, that his killers walked into the Fireside bar that night at 11:45 and somehow persuaded a total stranger, Shepard, to leave with them 15 minutes later.  According to the Jiminez book, Shepard knew his killers well.  The book speculates that Shepard was killed because he had a new stash of methamphetamine and the killers wanted it.  The book also reports that his main killer, Aaron McKinney, was on a five-day meth binge, a state given to maniacal violence.

The new book has been reported in the gay press and also in the conservative press but does not seem to have broken into the mainstream liberal press.  Things may change when the book is finally released on October 1, but the question remains, will this new story change in any way the dominant myth that has served the gay movement so well?

If Matthew Shepard was killed strictly because of drugs by his gay sex partner, what will that do to his martyr status in the gay community and in the larger world, including at the United Nations?

Two Child Policy in China: Too Little Too Late

NEW YORK, September 6 (C-FAM) With its announcement of possible reforms, China has implicitly admitted its forty year-old one child per-family policy has been a failure.

The rules led to draconian abuses. There were an estimated 336 million abortions, including forced abortions and sterilizations at the hands of a powerful and intrusive family planning establishment controlling the most intimate aspects of Chinese life. A rising callousness toward children and family has been attributed to the policy. Each year thousands of children are abandoned, and thousands more thought to be kidnapped and sold. So many abandoned babies die that the government set up "cottages" where parents can leave their children, mostly baby girls.  On Wednesday, Time magazine reported police arrested traffickers of 10 children only to find out their parents didn't want their children back. The parents had sold them to the gang for much-needed cash.

China's largest news agency, Xinhua, reported a proposed change to the highly unpopular policy in August, speculation confirmed by government officials. The current policy restricts couples in most of the country to get permission for a second child only if neither has a sibling. In the future, only one parent would have to be an only child to qualify. After two years, the whole country would shift to a two-child policy, reports say.

A recent Deutsche Bank report projected the new plan may lead to a baby boom, but would be too little too late to avert economic crises such as the country's massive pension deficit. The report projected an increase in the nation's fertility rate from 1.45 to 1.66 children per woman, with the biggest change seen in urban areas, where the policy is the strictest today, from 1.18 to 1.51. Rural areas could rise from 1.77 to 1.86 by 2018. Even so, the increases would be well below the replacement rate, about 2.1 children per woman. A reduction in the pension deficit would only be about 4% by 2040 at the earliest, the report said.The change is attributed to the receding influence of the old guard and some bureaucratic reform within the Chinese family planning establishment. The main driver, most agree, is Beijing's recognition of a looming demographic crisis owing to precipitous fertility decline.

Since the one child policy's inception in 1971, Chinese leaders along with UN experts and top demographers justified it by saying fewer people would make the Chinese people more prosperous. But fertility decline has led to a shrinking of the workforce five to six years earlier than experts projected. The contraction began in 2010 when the workforce peaked at 150 million. A shortage of 3 million workers was reported in 2012, and a 140 million worker-shortfall is predicted by the 2030s.

Making matters worse, China's relative decline in labor is steeper than even the bleak numbers suggest. The latest round of UN population projections show China aging faster than the UN previously predicted. Meanwhile its major competitors, the US and India, will see increases in workforce size due to a continuation of their near replacement fertility rates through 2100.

In the selected cities where Chinese officials launched the new rules, couples have not responded by having more than one child. This indicates norms have shifted toward very small families. National surveys indicate 40-50 percent of couples would like 2 children. But most were conducted before the economy soured. Rising costs of living and its fallout, such as separations to look for work, as well as rising infertility due to pollution and poor living conditions are blamed. The government announced this week it would fund a study to investigate the cause of infertility in 40 million Chinese women, according to the Chinese news portal Caixin.

Even if couples respond to the policy change with two-child families, there is little indication they would be relieved of the intrusive eyes – and enforcement mechanisms – of family planning officials. Along with forced abortions and sterilizations, officials collect steep fines for unauthorized children that amount to two to ten times a couple's annual income. The government reportedly took in more than $2 billion in fines in 2012.

When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no hospitals.  Today, one out of five people in this country [the USA] receive their medical care at a Catholic hospital. 

When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no schools.  Today, the Catholic Church teaches 3 million students a day, in its more than 250 Catholic Colleges and Universities, in its more than 1200 Catholic High Schools and its more than 5000 Catholic grade schools in America. 

Every day, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates more people than any other organization on the planet. 

The new Obama Health Mandate could end all this and the taxpayers would have to make up the loss. 

Also, all Catholic adoption services would come to an end.  A human disaster. 

There are more than 77 million Catholics in this country.  It takes an estimated 50 million Catholic votes to elect a president.  I am asking all of you to go to the polls in 2014 and be united in replacing all Senators and Reps with someone who will respect the Catholic Church, all Christians, and all Religions except Islam. 

Mr. President, you said, "The USA is not a Christian Nation."  You are wrong - we are a Christian Nation founded on Judeo-Christian values allowing all religions in America to Worship and Practice Freely.  Something Islam will never do. 

Oh, by the way, on MUSLIM HERITAGE IN America:  Have you ever been to a Muslim hospital?  Have you heard a Muslim orchestra?  Have you seen a Muslim band march in a parade?  Have  you witnessed a Muslim charity?  Have  you seen Muslims shaking hands with a Muslim Girl Scouts?  Have  you seen a Muslim Candy Striper?  Have  you ever seen a Muslim do anything that contributes positively to the American way of life?
